Somatic Experiencing

Somatic Experiencing is a body oriented approach to healing post traumatic stress & other stress related disorders. By focusing awareness on sensation, feeling, & images as they arise, the bodily memory of traumatic events can often be processed through the support of simple movements, breath awareness or sound. This process facilitates restoration of regulation and resilience to the body & nervous system.
